Primavera

Italian for Spring, La Primavera is also the name of the first professional cycling road race of the year. Held on the Sunday closest to the first day of Spring. From Milan to San Remo, Italy it was first run in 1907. It is the longest professional one-day race at 298km. They say it is not often won by the fastest sprinter but the one best prepared early.

A strong start sets you up for the win.
If you plan to play catch-up you may never get the chance.

Signs of Spring:
Go outside and see for yourself. The plants are sprouting, the birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming. What a rush.
Get out and sprout, chirp, bloom or whatever it is you do.

For me, with weather this good I'll be:
Biking from A to Z

to

Spring fever
Mark Twain

“It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want—oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!”- Mark Twain

March Madness
Another sure sign of Spring?  March Madness baby. The NCAA Tournament. And that means Vegas. The vibe is infectious, You can not be in Vegas this time of year without getting caught up in the excitement. What’s more the weather is almost always fantastic. Bring along your bike and get out and enjoy the day.
